Ruskin

All RBR instruments use a single piece of software: Ruskin. Compatible with PCs and Macs, it is the only application needed to deploy, download, and display the resulting data from your logger. Even if you don't have an RBR instrument yet, you can simulate deployments and estimate battery autonomy and memory usage for different scenarios.

Ruskin is easy to install and simple to use.

Ruskin features:

  • Cross platform - PCs and Macs. Exactly the same appearance and function on both operating systems.
  • Multiple instruments, multiple datasets. For efficient usage, download many instruments simultaneously, or compare data from different deployments.
  • Sprechen sie Ruskin? Ruskin currently speaks English, French, Spanish, Polish, and Chinese., with more to come.
  • Always up to date. As we make improvements and bug fixes, Ruskin will ask you if you would like to download the latest version.

Important: Ruskin is a completely new application that replaces our previous software (RBR Windows Software, or RBRWS). Version 1.0 of Ruskin does not support the following features, so you should continue to use RBRWS until Ruskin v1.1 is available, at which point it will be feature complete.
