When the HT vented sensor is calibrated, what value of water density is used?

FAQ

We usually use the water density which is appropriate for the expected application.  Since these instruments are generally used to measure tide, we assume a general seawater density of 1.025.  If we know that it is to be used in freshwater then we use a density of 1.00.  The sensor should be calibrated in water of the actual density using the two point calibration technique.
