Depth (Pressure) Logger DR-1050

RBR's small (38mm diameter, 220mm long), self contained, submersible pressure logger (sonde, recorder) measures depth to a very high precision. The DR-1050 is also know as a BPR (Bottom Pressure Recorder). Pressure measurements are made with 24-bit resolution and calibrated to an accuracy of ±0.05% full scale using NIST traceable standards.

Each unit employs an absolute pressure gauge, with ranges selectable from 10 dBars (10 metres of water) to 10,000 dBar (10,000 m) making the unit suitable for a wide range of applications from borehole testing and groundwater monitoring to deep ocean. For groundwater measurement, a barometric reference may be used to record the atmospheric pressure over the local area.

An optional underwater serial output permits triggering of sampling apparatus at preset depths.
