Temperature & Depth Logger RBRduo T.D

 

The RBRduo temperature and depth logger is our redesigned two channel logger built on the years of experience RBR has creating reliable and easy-to-use instruments.

The RBRduo T.D is submersible logger (sonde, recorder) that is self-contained, accurate and autonomous; it can be deployed for a period of up to 5 years at 1 minute sampling intervals and data can be retained in memory for 20 years (even without batteries).

The RBRduo T.D has a depth rating of 740m and is available for depths up to 10,000m in a titanium version.   The temperature channel calibrated an accuracy of ± 0.002°C (ITS-90) over the range -5 to +35°C. Extended range calibrations are available. Typical drift has been measured to be 0.002°C/year. The thermistor may be a standard response  (<3s time constant) or a fast response probe ( 0.095s time constant). The depth channel is calibrated to an accuracy of 0.05% full scale with ranges from 10m to 10,0000m. Calibration constants are stored in the logger and recalibration is easily carried out by the end-user.
