Multi Channel - Multi Parameter Logger XR-420/620

RBR's multi-parameter, multi-channel loggers (sonde, recorder) are designed to give you the flexibility to select the right combination of sensors for your water quality measurements.  Your choice of up to six sensors can be attached to the logger. The loggers are available in two configurations one for autonomous deployment and one for water column profiling. The recorders can be equipped with data and power connections to facilitate remote access or remote data acquisition.  There are a number of different sensors that can be used with the recorders, for example; Conductivity, Temperature, Depth, pH, ORP (RedOx), Dissolved Oxygen, Fluorescence, Turbidity, Transmittance, PAR and others.

Features of the XR-420:

• XR-420 is a small, submersible, autonomous 24-bit data logger
• 1 Hz (XR-420) maximum sampling rate capacity to support up to six sensors in the standard enclosure
• Up to six sensors in custom configurations can be integrated
• Sensors include, Conductivity, Temperature, Depth (Pressure), pH, ORP(RedOx), Dissolved Oxygen, Fluorescence, Turbidity, Transmittance, PAR, and many others in any combination
• C, T, D and DO are measured to WOCE standards
• All calibration constants are stored in the logger
• Re-calibration may be carried out by the end-user under suitable conditions
• RS232 or RS485 serial communication allows real-time operation over long cable links using the RBR Ruskin application
• Mooring clamps and cages are optional (see accessories page), and rugged transit cases are recommended

Features of the XR-620 (Profiling):

• The XR-620 is the profiling version of the standard XR-420 logger; it includes all of the above features, plus:
  • 6Hz maximum sampling rate
  • Fast Thermistor (0.095s time constant)
  • Thresholding capability (logger only samples while submerged)
  • and optionally, a fast response dissolved oxygen sensor (Response: approximately 1 sec for 63% at 25°C)
